A Boorowa Street business was broken into, and another had its front window damaged in an attempted break-in early on Thursday morning.

The Young Flight Centre had its front door smashed in, and the store was ransacked in the early morning crime spree.
Young Flight Centre manager Sigrun Eibl said cash is not kept on the premises and no staff were in the store at the time, she also expressed her appreciation to nearby businesses who raised the alarm.
“We are very lucky to live in such an amazing community that people still keep an eye out and we are very sad that this has happened not just to our business but also to others and we appreciate the communities support,” she said.
Gary’s Gourmet Meats had its front window broken, but the store was not successfully broken into. A Gary’s Gourmet Meats staff member said the police had indicated that they would view a neighbouring businesses security footage to try and identify the person or persons involved.
Cootamundra LAC Sergeant Paul Colefax said police were investigating the crimes.
