Thursday afternoon games
Play on Thursday afternoon saw 20 players taking part with most games closely contested.
Results
The winners for the afternoon were Milan Brankovic and Denis Rosen who won their game by 14 shots.
The jackpot amount of $200 was not won.
Saturday afternoon games
There were also 20 players on Saturday afternoon.
Results
For the third outing in a row Denis Rosen skipped the best–performed team.
This time he and Alan Gall had a win by 17 shots to take out the vouchers sponsored by Penrose Funerals.
Other winning teams were Justin Nowlan and David Ward (11 shots), Mark Brownlie and David Quigley (8 shots), Tony Ruhl and Colin Chapman (5 shots) and Greg Woods and Ian Schofield (3 shots).
Zone triples championship
Also on Saturday afternoon James Freudenstein, Geoff Holt and Graeme Edgerton played in the first round of the Zone 8 Triples Championship.
Results
They lost 24–21 to the team representing the Albury district.
The Wagga RSL team of Max Sandbrook, Brett White and David Inglis had a strong win in their game on Saturday afternoon and followed up in Sunday’s semi–final and final to claim the title.
Sunday
Sunday morning saw a very frosty start followed by sunny conditions.
Results
There were 12 players on the green with the winning team consisting of Harry Long, Joe Read and Bill Standen.
This week
Play this week starts on Thursday afternoon.
There will be a $200 jackpot on offer on Thursday and again on Saturday afternoon.
