Three women bowlers from Harden travelled across to join the Young WBC bowlers on Tuesday and what a beautiful day it was. Cold but fine which is all bowlers can ask for. Two games of triples were played;

On Rink 18; Diane De Britt, Robyn Apps and Ann Larsen from Harden 15, played Kate Cooper, Heather Bailey and Margaret Gailey 20
On Rink 16; Julie Alavoine, Pat Rogerson and Jill Rosen 17, played Nancy Tomlinson, Leonie Martin and Ann Gardner 16.
Wednesday was a very different day as it was even colder and showers came often. Despite the weather no one could keep the women Bowlers off the green. Over 100 people attended Forbes President’s Day, not all were bowlers but teams from Orange City, Newstead, Manildra, Condobolin, Canowindra, Parkes City, Cowra, Grenfell, Young, Parkes Railway, West Wyalong along with 5 teams from Forbes and two teams from the District all played. A great day was had by all.
