The Young Junior Rugby League Club will host an Emergency Services Day and will involve Police and local Emergency Services attending to promote a fun and positive interaction within the local community.
Emergency Services will utilise their sirens to initiate half time and full time of games and will have their respective vehicles available to explore.
A tug-of-war between Emergency Services will be held at 9.45am and Police and other Services will be working in the canteen.
Cootamundra LAC Acting Inspector Kristin Marshall said the day would be fun for local children and emergency services workers alike.
"I always remind young kids that Police are not to be feared, but are friends," she said."Plus kids of all ages love to be in and around fire trucks.
"We really just want to be putting forward positive interactions with the public and emergency services and enjoy a good day of footy."
