Saturday’s Office National stableford attracted 53 players and it was great to see a number of our newer/young members out playing and enjoying each others company.

Ian Tierney ran second on 68 nett and there was 14 players between 68 nett and 71 nett to win a ball in the ball comp.

The final of the south west scratch pennants played on Sunday at Cootamundra between Young and Tumut was creating much interest. It was a very tight battle and with both teams having two wins each the deciding match was still out on the course. Rick Oliver was having the 'time of his life'.

The match needed an extra nine holes before a decision was reached.

Unfortunately for Young Rick was beaten on the 27th hole.

Congratulations to Tumut and of course our players who played through the series we thank you for your efforts.
