Young has won the final round of the pennants competition in Temora against Tumut. Young now retains the pennant which they have held for three years.

On Saturday the event was a fourball twister with 18 players taking part. A countback was required to determine the winners of the vouchers donated by Larraine Nicolls and Shirley Roberts. Sandra Holmes and Noela Hardman with 69 points collected the vouchers from Leanne Slater and Lynne Page. These players collected golf balls in the ball comp.
The Elegant Timber Shutters and Blinds NTP was won by Suzanne Manning and Liz Harding won the Keith Simmons Engineering drive and chip.
The Cootamundra tournament was held on Wednesday with six players from Young making the trip. Helen Spencer won the stableford scratch event with 24 pts (83 off the stick). Liz Harding was the runner-up in the Division 1 stableford handicap event with 33 pts and Maxine McCormack won the visitor’s trophy in Division 1.
