Thanks to the Bowling Club Fishing Club for providing breakfast for the players on Sunday morning and to Tone Boldrini for catering for lunch and post–game pizzas on Saturday.
Thanks also to the bar staff for their work and well done to Damien for the condition of the green.
Zone 8 president’s cup
Also at the weekend the South Western District were the winners of the Zone 8 President’s Cup competition played at Gundagai.
This competition is restricted to players having a Pennant grade of 5, 6 or 7.
From the five games played against sides from other districts the South Western side had three wins and a draw to narrowly defeat the side from Wagga District that had three wins.
Well done to the South Western players, as this is the first time the district has won this event.
