Acting Inspector Malcolm Sutherland said on Monday August 21, at a property on Jackson Road, Young, a fire caused damage to three vehicles, one caravan and a tin shed over $5000 in value.
“The fire which is believed to be suspicious is currently under investigation,” he said.
“There was also a suspicious vehicle fire in West St, Grenfell at about 2am on Saturday August 19, the vehicle was destroyed and police are investigating the cause of the fire.”

A black and silver coloured box trailer was stolen from the rear yard of an Edward St address in Young between August 13 and 19, police are asking for public assistance.

Mid Range PCA
A 33 year old Female was arrested in Young for Mid Range PCA at 9pm on August 20 at Zouch St, Young.
“There were two children in the vehicle, a 15 year old and a 7 year old,” Mr Sutherland said. “The driver’s breath analysis result was middle range, her Western Australian drivers license was suspended and she will appear in Young Local Court on September 13.”
