Southern Stars showcases the abilities of more than 2,800 students from across NSW.
This arena spectacular held annually at the WIN Entertainment Centre, Wollongong is a powerful, inspiring and energetic show featuring vocalists, dancers, circus performers, drama students, a 700 voice choir and live orchestra.
Murringo students are featured in the choir and in the Aboriginal Dance Ensemble. They will be joined by friends from Young High School who will feature in some of the dances and by ex-Murringo student Tennyson Neville, who is one of the featured vocalists in the performance.
The students have been busy rehearsing, both here at home, and in Wollongong and are keen to perform again, after their first year of participation in 2016. The long car trips and huge rehearsal schedule will be all worth it.
