The Transport for NSW Freight and Infrastructure Forum will be an opportunity for the community to discuss ideas on infrastructure upgrades in their own backyard. The panel will comprise Mrs Pavey, the NSW Livestock, Bulk and Rural Carriers Association, the NRMA, Pacific National and Grain Growers Ltd.
Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW John Barilaro said the Forum is a great opportunity to have a productive conversation about future investment in the region.
“It is fantastic that locals in this electorate can meet with industry representatives to ensure this area continues to prosper well into the future,” he said.
Mrs Pavey said the forum has a clear focus on making sure this government is providing the right regional investments so people can work, live and study anywhere in NSW.
“We’re continuing to fix the blackspots, seal our country roads and work with local councils through programs such as Fixing Country Roads to deliver safety initiatives in regional areas,” she said.
The community is invited to attend the forum at 9.00am at the Cootamundra Ex-Servicemen's and Citizens Memorial Club.
