Bailey’s little beauty in art exhibition

A talented student in Year 1 at Murringo Public School has been selected for the 2018 Operation Art exhibition to tour around regional and galleries across Sydney.

Bailey McKinnon’s art work entitled “Rock House’ was selected to join the exhibition with another 49 pieces selected from across the state.

The Operation Art exhibition will travel to five regional galleries, as well as the Armory Gallery at the Sydney Olympic Park Authority and the Art Gallery of NSW over the coming months.

Bailey’s artwork was only one out of a total of 796 entries that have made it into the touring exhibition.

In addition to the touring exhibition, around 60 artworks are donated to the children’s wards at hospitals across NSW.

The exhibition was officially opened on Saturday September 9 at the Armory Gallery, Sydney Olympic Park Authority.
