Liz and Leanne win Mercy Care day

On Saturday the Mercy Care day was held with winners of the ladies’ event Liz Harding and Leanne Slater returning a nett scored of 68¾. 

Binalong tournament was held on Sunday and three ladies made the trip. Liz Harding won the scratch event with 81. Betty Stanton won the handicap event with 73 nett and Leanne Slater won longest drive.

The District final of the Keno fourball event was held at Cootamundra on Monday with Libby and Pammie returning a score of +9 to win the event and are now off to Bonville in November to compete in the State final. Congratulations to Libby and Pammie.

Wednesday’s event winners of the stroke event in their respective grades were: Leanne Slater with 68 nett, Gail Hanigan with 69 nett and Larraine Nicolls had the best score of the day with 67 nett. The stableford event winner was Helen Spencer with 36 pts.

Tomorrow is the medal of medal play-offs. The event is a stroke and in conjunction a stableford event will be played. On Sunday Boorowa tournament will be held.
