Former Young resident Trish Foxall placed 74th in her debut as an Australian representative last weekend at the International Triathlon World Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

The Sprint event involved a 750 metre open water swim, a 20km bike ride, finishing with a 5km run.
“You're never too old to achieve something amazing,” Trish said after receiving notification in May that she had made the Australian team in the 45 to 49 year age group.
Trish lived up to her promise to not come last in the event.
“I knew I would absolutely not come first, but I was determined to not come last,” she said.
“It's incredible what your body can do when you put your mind to it.
“You only need one person to believe in you until you believe in yourself. Don't ever let anyone tell you you can't - you can, this is proof.”
