The first ordinary meeting is set down for this Wednesday September 27, 2017 at the Hilltops Council Chambers in Young with the meeting to begin from 5.30pm.
These dates have been set with the exception of the December meeting which will be held on the third Wednesday due to the Christmas holiday period and January 2018 when there will be no meeting held.
According to Mayor Brian Ingram other than setting the location for the first Ordinary Meeting, Council deferred a decision on exact locations of future meetings to further consider options, however it was resolved that meetings would rotate between the former Local Government Areas of Young, Harden and Boorowa.
During the Extraordinary Meeting last week – the first meeting of the newly elected Hilltops Council – Councillors also resolved to live-stream Ordinary Meetings of Council for a 6-month trial period, enabling members of the public to watch proceedings online.
