The concert series has become a regular presentation of the Hilltops region calendar and has already featured some of the area’s most talented musicians.
Vicki Walsh was the inaugural performer on July 7 and since that time those attending have been entertained by Judy Barker, Emily Calvert, Mark Corkery, James Cronin, Margaret Gillespie, Doug and Sonja Lynch, Annabelle Reynolds, Liz Boland and Georgia Richens and Sing Australia.
Library Manager Janice Ottey said the concerts were gaining in popularity and she issued a welcome to people across the region to take some time out of their busy end of week to enjoy the performances.
“Musicians are being invited who represent many different styles of music and many different demographics,” she said.
The concert on Friday September 29 again features well-known local artist Judy Barker singing Jazz and easy listening items for your entertainment.
Mrs Ottey said the concerts provided a regular, easily accessible and free activity for people in the community who enjoy music.
The concerts are held each Friday from 12.30pm to 1pm.
Those attending are invited to bring lunch, and friends.
