This Saturday and Sunday teams will be travelling from all across the state to take part in the two days of competition.
Games will kick off at Keith Cullen and Hall Brothers Oval from 9 am this Saturday with each team nominated will play three games in total – two on Saturday and one on Sunday morning.
The ninth annual running of the carnival will also include a City vs Country Masters game for the third year in a row.
Both teams have a win behind them with this year to be the tie breaker.
Each team will nominate a player to take part with previous players not eligible to take part again allowing all players to have a go on the field.
Saturday evening the annual dinner will be held at the Young Services Club who are once again major sponsors of the event.
Over 280 players and friends will attend the dinner where $5,000 in prize money will be up for grabs.
The Young Masters Carnival is still recognised as the second biggest Masters carnival out side of the Gold Coast carnival which will is held at the end of February.
In 2018 the Cherryatrics will be competing on the Gold Coast for the tenth year.
