The event will take place at Chinamans Dam on Sunday November 12 and registrations have already come in from Canberra, Wagga and Bathurst.
Organisers are excited for the event and have said it is far more than just a run with plenty of focus on entertainment and creating a great atmosphere at the finish line.
“We are really excited to welcome the Young and Region Farmers Market to our start/finish area.
“They will come and set-up their stalls so you can grab some great local produce at the event,” Cherry Chase committee member Ben Cooper said.
“This really is a community event for everyone.
“If you are not a runner come and walk the course or cheer your family and friends along.
“You can grab a coffee or ice cream whilst you wait and check out the Farmers Markets.”
With families in mind the organisers have put together discounted prices from those wanting to bring the kids along and do both the Cherry Chase and follow it up with the Colour Run.
Registration is available online at www.cherrychase.com.au or for anyone who would prefer to register in person and pay cash you can with the Cherry Chase: Chase the Colour committee in front of the Westpac Bank in Boorowa Street, Young on Saturday October 21 or Saturday November 4 from 9am – 2pm.
