The Cherry Festival Photographic Exhibition and Competition entries close on October 21 so please get your entries in. For more information and entry forms look under entry forms at www.youngcameraclub.com.

Entry forms will also be at Harvey Norman, Visitors Centre, the Library, Big W and the Town Hall.

The exhibition and competition will be opened on Friday November 24 with the showing opened to the public from Saturday November 25 until Sunday December 3 at the Millard Centre in Young.

The exhibition will be opened by Hilltops Council Mayor Brian Ingram.

Young Camera Club meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7pm, except for Jan.

All clubs have a certain amount of business and decisions that have to be made, we feel that this is your club and you should be involved with the decisions. We have a committee to deal with day to day issues and then report back to the members for any decisions to be ratified. This is done to free up valuable club time for guest speakers, competitions and workshops.

Supper is a great time that gives you the chance to stretch your legs have a cuppa and a chat with others. This also gives the guest speaker or another person time to judge the club competition photos. Most meetings have a guest speaker who will talk on a different aspect of photography each month.  This is a great opportunity for you to learn a little about a wide range of subjects.
