3. Make friends. When you join a Bowling Club you become an important member of that club, you meet people, you make friends, you travel to play at other clubs and improve your social life.
4. Confidence building. To achieve in any sport builds confidence as your abilities improve, your concentration gets better and your hand eye co-ordination skills build your overall confidence.
5. Brain alertness. The sport of Bowls isn’t just rolling a bowl down to the other end of the green. There are many problems to sort out such as wind, green speed, bowl bias, length to the jack/kitty and just how much pressure to put on the bowl to get it where it’s supposed to be.
