The second round of the senior representative side was played last weekend with the Australian Hotel Scorchers travelling to Temora after a bye in round one.

The Scorchers beat the Temora Bowling Club side last weekend after the Young side elected to bat after winning the toss.
The side was off to a good start with the opening partnership of Troy Newham and Jacob Dodge making 50 runs before Newham was dismissed for 36 in the sixteenth over.
At drinks the Scorchers were sitting on 1/69 with Dodge falling shortly after the break for 20.
Brendan Robinson and Ethan Newham got the scoreboard ticking over nicely before Ethan was dismissed for 19.
Soon after Robinson got out for 26 leading the side to a collapse with the Scorchers ending all out for 129.
The Scorchers were hurting after losing their opening bowlers in the off season but new openers Ben Logue and Nick Bush took the new ball and had the Bowling Club batsmen struggling to make runs.
With the boys on the ball wickets were falling with regularity, Logue taking an incredible 5/10 off 5.3 overs and Bush takin 1/9 off 5 overs.
‘Scuba’ Steve Tomlinson took over the ball making 4/10 off 6 overs. Scuba looked like he was on point for a hat-trick however just missed out.
The final result ended in Temora all out for 41.
This week the Australian Hotel Scorchers will take on the highly fancied Stockinbingal side at Keith Cullen oval.
