‘Stuff Your Chopper’ is an initiative which calls on organisations to fill an aircraft with items for a nominated charity.
This year, the challenge has extended to all emergency services, whether it is a fire truck, ambulance, boat or rescue vehicle.
Commander of Special Services Group, Superintendent Greg Rolph said police often go to extraordinary lengths every day to help community members and this is just another way to show their support.
“This is just the beginning; we know we can all do more to give something back this Christmas and that’s why I’m challenging law enforcement and emergency services worldwide to contribute toward this important cause,” Superintendent Rolph said.
“NSW Police is getting on the front foot this festive season and I urge my colleagues to do the same. Together we can make a real difference.”
