Local truck driver Lindsay Crowe will be loading up along with the driving force of Brendan Farrell and others to make the epic trip to help drought stricken farmers.
The massive convoy will be heading out of Darling Point next Friday to make its delivery.
At this stage about 150 trucks are expected to take part in the run, however Mr Farrell expects the number to grow closer to the day.
Trucks are expected to gather at Darlington Point on January 25 in time for dinner, a catch-up and to fine-tune last-minute logistics.
The first truck will depart at 6am with a lunch stop at Cobar before venturing to Bourke and on to Cunnamulla mid-afternoon with on-farm drop-offs the following day.
Mr Farrell has called for the ‘bangers’ to be decorated with as many Aussie decorations as possible.
