Young detectives executed a search warrant on February 8 and located five cannabis plants and a quantity of Cannabis leaf.
The cannabis has an estimated street value of $10,000.
Young Officer in charge Detective Inspector Scott Wilkinson said the property has been raided before.
"This property has been searched before by Detectives who located 27 cannabis plants, and as a result, a 51-year-old man from Young is facing Court on Cultivate Prohibited Plant and associated drug charges for that matter," he said.
"The cannabis from that search has an estimated street value of $54,000.
"Our enquiries are continuing relative to the latest seizure, and it is expected that Court Attendance Notices will be served on the alleged offender shortly."
Mr Wilkinson said the public play an important part in helping police gather evidence to issue search warrants.
“One of the best ways to identify and investigate drug-related crimes is through the support of the public, and this is another example of how well the police and the community can work together," he said.
“In fact, the community and police work together on a daily basis in a positive way, and we encourage people to contact police or Crime Stoppers, which can be done anonymously if they see anything suspicious in their neighbourhoods.
