It was Wear It Purple Day on Friday, a national event held across the country to raise awareness and offer support to these young people.
It’s also about ensuring that all schools across Australia are places where every student can be free from bullying and violence.
Year 11 information technology students designed their own posters and placed them around the school to promote Friday’s event.
All staff and students were encouraged to wear purple while the school’s student leadership team hosted various activities, such as such as a dress-up photo booth and painting faces with rainbow zinc.
Year 10 students also made rainbow cakes that were sold at morning tea.
