Young Embroidery Services (YES) have donated $500 to the Young & District Netball Association for the purpose of buying a new marquee.
It’s the first time YES has sponsored the netball club who desperately needed the funds in order to purchase new marquees after they were destroyed during a wind storm at a Canberra carnival in April.
Club secretary Trish Patterson said it’s great to have the business on board.
“It’s important to have the support of local businesses who play such a big part in the running of local sporting clubs,” Patterson said.
Toni was happy to sponsor the club that she’s been involved with through her daughter for the last three years.
“The club would like to send a big thanks to YES for their donation, and we hope that you love netball as much as we do,” Patterson said.
