Year 12 Hennessy Catholic College student Riley Turner is following in the footsteps of rugby union greats as he sets his sights on Australian Schoolboys selection.
Turner was selected from the Southern Inland Rugby Union team earlier this year and will represent the Under 18 Brumbies at the Australian selection tournament in Sydney next week.
He will compete against the best Under 18s in the country in hopes of being selected for the national team.
Young Junior Rugby Union president Jeff Nuthall said Turner’s in with a good chance of selection after playing some quality rugby of late.
"We wish him all the best from the Young Junior Rugby Club, we hope you make it all the way through,” he said.
