
The Young Crisis Accommodation Centre is hosting a free lunch as part of their Homeless Persons Week activities.
Homeless Persons Week 2016 is the first week of August.
Young Crisis Accommodation Centre, with the support of the Rapid Relief Team, are holding the free lunch on Wednesday, August 3.
They are hosting the lunch outside their office in Boorowa Street
In conjunction with the lunch, the centre are also holding an open day where people are welcomed into the office to ask questions and discover what services the Young Crisis Accommodation Centre offers.
The free lunch outside the office, next door to Rivers, will be held on Wednesday, August 3, from 12pm-1.30pm.
The free lunch is to help raise awareness of homelessness in the Young community for Homeless Persons Week.
Homeless Persons Week is held in the first full week of August each year and is used to raise awareness of people experiencing homelessness and the issues these people face.
It is also to increase community connections for those who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness.
