Young North Public School have some additions to provide a complete learning experience and to build productive partnerships.
They have developed their Community Contact Lounge, Client Contact Office and Hub MC.
The Community Contact Lounge is a school funded Family Connection Worker and Aboriginal Linkage worker.
The Client Contact Office has Mercy Care OT's currently running a pilot project, assessing 128 referrals from the school.
The Hub MC is an additional multi-category disability support class.
"At the end of the day my hope is to continue to develop an innovative school that affords every student equal opportunity to a system leading education,” Principal Kel Smerdon said.
"The Client Contact Office is an exciting partnership where we will benefit from OT assessment and program creation.
"The Hub MC is symbolic of our inclusive commitment to embracing all students and meeting their needs with high quality staff and innovative programs," he said.
