
Van to visit Young Friday
Australians are being encouraged to find out more about dementia during Dementia Awareness Month so people living with the condition feel less isolated and alone.
As part of Dementia Awareness Month, the Alzheimer’s Australia NSW Memory Van will be visiting:
- Boorowa, Courthouse Park, today from 10am - 12pm;
- Binalong, near the Binalong Coach Stop, tomorrow from 9am – 11.30am;
- Yass, outside Memorial Hall, tomorrow from 12.30pm – 2.30pm;
- Young, outside Town Hall, on Friday, September 9, from 10am – 1pm;
- Harden, Southern Cross Care, Swift Street, on Friday from 2pm – 4pm;
- Harden, Harden Show, on Saturday, September 10.
Dementia Awareness Month runs throughout September with this year’s theme You Are Not Alone.
There will be a range of other events throughout the state as part of Dementia Awareness Month.
