Darn Weather
Another week of no golf competition due to the weather.
A record breaking rainfall figure of approximately 215mm in September has had devastating consequence for golfers.
This is not to mention the poor golf course it’s self.
Anyone who has driven along Jazprizza Avenue will have noticed the long grass along the 16th fairway.
This is a good indication of how long that hole has been out of action.
Bring it on
It is with great anticipation that the annual three day South West Championships will be able to be played this weekend.
The Championships will be held at Cootamundra.
The storm there on Tuesday night may have affected the course.
Good luck to the Young ladies who are competing.
Important Dates
- Presentation Day will be on Sunday, November 6. Details to follow.
- The Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 9 at 5.30pm.
The nominations sheet for office bearers and committee will be posted in the Ladies Room. Please come along, all welcome.
Members are encouraged to nominate for positions in order for our game to continue being administered by the lady golfers.
