Better turn out for better weather
On Thursday afternoon 26 players took advantage of the good weather, Tony Ruhl and Denis Rosen had the winning margin of 11 shots. The Jackpot was not won.
Saturday was the start of the club fours. The winning skips were C Chapman 17 points, D Rosen five points, D Ward four points and R Porter 28 points.
Jackpot Bowls Saturday, the winners were T Carpenter and D Quigley 28 points, B Clark and R Cummings two points and S Walsh, A Hutchison, M Brownlie two points.
Sunday morning bowls had eight players and the winning team was H Long and J Henoch with 15 points.
Three games of Minor singles were played on Sunday afternoon, A Hutchison played M Brownlie, S Barnes played G Wood and S Walsh played J Read. The winners were A Hutchison, S Barnes and S Walsh.

A Reminder that the Sydney Country Council Bowlers are here this Thursday, October 13 and all bowlers are asked to support this event by entering. Casual dress and a 1.30pm start.
This weekend is the Bowling Club Fishing Club’s dinner, it is on Saturday night, tickets are available at the club and details of the special events for Sunday are displayed at the club.
