On Tuesday 13 March 2012, police and emergency services were called to Burrangong Hall Road, following reports of a concern for welfare.
On arrival, a man was located outside a home who died at the scene.
Detectives from Cootamundra Local Area Command commenced Strike Force Rengbari to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Following protracted investigations, a 39-year-old woman was arrested yesterday (Tuesday, October 18) at a home in Young.
She was taken to Young Police Station where she was charged with manslaughter.
The woman was refused bail and appeared at Wagga Wagga Local Court today (Wednesday, October 19) and was granted conditional bail to reappear at Young Local Court on Tuesday, November 8.
