Clover Leigh has finally been able to approach the course for green keeping without sinking up to the differentials. Six holes are presently open for play through November. The holes open are one and five through nine.
Par for the three rounds of six holes is 66. Water still trickles over two and four while the second, third and fourth greens have been renovated, being out of play.
On Saturday the club hosted the monthly medal for the month of October. The men’s winner was George Gerrard with a nett 67. Nearest the pin to Graeme Bell with 340 centimetres on the eighth.
The ladies winner was Tania Baldwin with a net 71. Tania also took out nearest the pin with 105 centimetres on the eighth.
