Young police are investing a break and enter at the St Vincent de Paul store in Lynch Street Young.

Police said the break in occurred sometime between 7pm on Thursday, October 27 and 8am on Friday, October 28.
According to police unknown persons have gained entry into the premises and have stolen a small amount of cash.
The offender/s have gained entry to the building through a side window.

Newagency break in
In other police news, arround midnight on Sunday, October 30 an attempted break and enter occurred at a newsagency in Young.
Police say the attempted break and enter to the Boorowa Street premises was captured on Closed Circuit Television.
“There’s possibly a white car involved and four males involved,” a police spokesman said.
No further description is available at this time.

Truck Accident
Emergency services were called to a single truck and trailer accident around 5am on Monday, October 31.
The accident occurred about 15km west of Young on the Milvale Road.
Upon arrival at the scene emergency services personnel discovered the truck and trailer in a ditch alongside the roadway, spilling its load of grain.
At the time of going to print there were no reports of anyone injured, but is yet to be confirmed.
Three charged over Cowra fire
Three people have been charged in relation to a house fire.
On July 5, 2016, a 29 year old male was asleep inside his home in Short Street, when he was woken by fire within the home. He was unable to immediately exit the home due to barriers put in place by unknown persons.
