Six holes remain in play at Clover Leigh and on Saturday the club hosted the monthly medal for the month of November.
The men’s winner was George Gerrard with a nett 70.
The ladies winner was Tania Baldwin with a net 76.
Tania would have taken out nearest the pin with 1100 centimetres on the eighth, but then she got a measure of 673 centimetres on the fourteenth.
And that might have won it too, until she managed 400 centimetres on the seventeenth! So that clinched it.
No gobbles or birdies on the card, which is not to say that they weren’t left on the course.

Next week will be single stroke event at 10 am. The following weekend will be the annual club championships played as a stroke event. This event will be starting at 10 am on Saturday and 9am Sunday.
