Ten top line performers will delight you with their tales of bush life from 6.30pm on Saturday, December 3.
The field includes Queensland and NSW State champions, plus a multi-time winner of the Tamworth Golden Damper, together with local talent to bring you top entertainment.
Each poet will present two pieces for judging and the top point scorer will be declared the winner on the night.
Robyn Sykes, past Australian Women’s Bush Poetry Champion and former winner of the Young Cherry Festival Competition, will be the featured artist on the night.
Even if you didn’t like poetry at school, this event will astound and delight you.
Tickets are on sale now at the Young Visitor’s Information Centre in Lovell Street and at only $15 a ticket they are a bargain.
