Wednesday, November 30 sees the last of our club competitions played for 2016. The Bradd Shield is played every yearly by all club members wishing to compete.
Partners are selected by our committee on a handicap system in the strongly-contested competition.
As the warmer weather approaches attendance on our club days has improved, and as a result we have several members now playing competitively and we are hoping as the various carnivals at several NSW centres are coming up that we will be better represented at them.
During the last few months we have been hosting pupils from the Young North Public School for their sports time allocations which proved successful for both the students and our club members alike.
At the conclusion of the events some of the children were awarded for their efforts and achievements.
Last week saw a sausage sizzle held for them which was well attended, followed by a presentation to the top four players for their good play, improvements and their skills.
