Carrington Park will host the annual Young Carols by Candlelight this Sunday with the family fun kicking off at 6pm.
Organised by churches of all denominations in Young, the event will start with activities and games for everyone before the music starts at sunset.
There will be a sausage sizzle, drinks, ice creams and candles all for sale during the event with the carols beginning at 8pm.
Forecasters are predicting the weather to be a sunny day with temperatures in the mid-twenties.
With schools wrapping up for the year on Friday, Carols by Candlelight would be the perfect way to distract the kids at the start of the long summer holidays.
With all the classics to be sung and a wonderful atmosphere it is an event not to be missed.
The town of Harden is also holding a community Christmas Celebration on Friday from 5pm at Newson Park.
The celebration will include market stalls, a visit from Santa Claus, Carols, a barbecue and the town pool will remain open until 7pm.
