The Young Lions Soccer Club is among a number of local sporting groups who will receive a large sum of money to make improvements to their current facilities.

The soccer culb will receive $36,240 for improvements to the amenities building at Gus Smith Oval after securing a Hilltops Council grant.
Member for Cootamundra, Katrina Hodgkinson, congratulated Young Lions Soccer Club for putting forward the proposal.
"The Young Lions Soccer Club is one of more than a dozen sporting groups in the area that is sharing in this funding. This funding will ensure that the clubhouse is up to scratch and meets the growing needs of the community.
"Soccer players from across the area - Young, Boorowa and Grenfell - all play here, so this project will be of benefit to the wider community," Katrina said.
Hilltops Council last week approved the funding for the Young Lions Soccer Club, allowing it to provide additional storage space, extend the covered viewing area, provide amenities for male and female referees and a disabled toilet that complies with current Australian standards.
