This Saturday’s first round of the Twenty20 competitions marks the halfway point in the Sportspower Cup (40 over) season, and a number of individuals have made outstanding contributions for their respective teams throughout the competition.

Leading the way is the Young Blues’ Nic Hall who has taken 15 wickets and scored 226 runs including a high score of 167 not out.
These statistics take Hall to the top of the champion player leaderboard – an outstanding achievement for the versatile sportsperson.
Not far behind is Nick Berry who is the leading runscorer to date, having recorded 407 runs including three 50s and a century.
His Bowling Club teammate Charlie Johns has taken the most wickets.
Johns’ seamers has registered 18 wickets in eight matches.
On four occasions he’s picked up at least three scalps.
Two rounds of the Twenty competition will be played this Saturday before the Christmas break.
