Member for Cootamundra Katrina Hodgkinson MP congratulated the Young Regional School of Music for putting forward their grant from Hilltops Council. The Young Regional School of Music will receive $34,069 for refurbishment to make it compliant with disability and workplace health and safety regulations, Ms Hodgkinson said today.

"I am very pleased that the Young Regional School of Music, an important and treasured institution of the Young community, is receiving the funding that it needs," Katrina said.
Funding for the Young Regional School of Music will improve accessibility and conduct other essential maintenance work.
Hilltops Council Administrator Wendy Tuckerman said the Stronger Community Fund would mean that local community groups would be able to improve their current services and facilities.
"For many of our local groups, the Stronger Communities Fund will be a lifeline of essential funding. The response from both local residents and community groups has been overwhelming," Ms Tuckerman said.
Young District Arts Council also recieved $50,000 for food preparation area and Young Neighbourhood Centre received $50,000 for their Young Hub Community Inclusion Project.
