It’s not too late to join with places still available for the program that goes from January 9 to January 19.
With the number of children drowning in pools and waterways in NSW on the rise, it’s more important than ever to make sure that children have the skills and coping mechanisms to get themselves out of trouble in the water.
The Learn to Swim program uses songs, games and activities to teach skills including entry and exits, breathing, floating, movement, underwater skills and safe water behaviour.
Learn to Swim consists of nine 30 minute classes and only costs $50, which could be considered a small price to pay for a child’s safety. For more information please contact Young Aquatic Centre – (02) 6382 2265.
