Earlier this month 16 Little Ninjas and five senior members of Kumiai-Ryu Martial Arts in Young tested for their next belts in Karate.

“In our classes the children are taught a range of martial arts technique, self defence skills, coordination drills and fitness,” Shidoshi Nathan Lynch said. “Those who successfully complete the training requirements are invited to challenge for their next belt at the end of the school term,”
Shidoshi Nathan proudly presented the students with their belts and certificates and was very impressed with the enthusiasm the students showed throughout the Day.
Senior Karate graders were put through an exhausting session with all graders performing extremely well on the day and all students advancing to their next level. Muay Thai Students will be tested in all Muay Thai basics and skills in a few short weeks on May 1.
“Term two is shaping up nicely for our Martial Artists with the first Round of the AMAC tournament held in Dubbo on April 30,” Shidoshi Nathan said.
