The Regional 10 Pennant Play-off was hosted by Young Bowling Club on June 6 and 7. Grade three was contested between South West District, Young, Southern Slopes District, Lake Cargelligo and Central Riverina District, Wagga Rules. Young first four won its game against Wagga Rules 26/10 and Lake Cargelligo 26/17, Young second four lost against Wagga Rules 16/19 but won against Lake Cargelligo 38/8. Young came out ahead with nine points, Lake Cargelligo five points and Wagga Rules one point. The South West District Grade four Pennant team which was a composite side of Harden/Stockinbingal also won their way through to the State Finals at Terrigal on August 14. After The first and second round of the South West District Singles on Tuesday 13, the third round and Semi Finals were played on Wednesday. Margo Parker 25 beat Sheila Traynor 10. Jenny Ricketts (Harden) 25 beat Kate Cooper 11. Nita Mannwaring (Coota C C) 25 beat Yvonne Murphy (Boorowa) 9. Elsie Hines 25 beat Betty Cleveland (Coota C C) 9. Jenny Ricketts (Harden) 25 beat Margo Parker 21. Elsie Hines 25 beat Nita Mannwaring (Coota C C) 8. Thursday Morning Final will be between Elsie Hines (Young) and Jenny Ricketts (Harden). Consolation final between Katherine Betcher (Coota C C) and Leonie Martin (Young).
