Judging will soon commence for the Hilltops Wine Show 2017 with four classes for whites and seven classes for red wines from across the region.

The wines will be judged in Griffith in early September at the NSW Regional Wine Show conducted by the Riverina Wine Makers Association.
There are four major awards that are up for grabs in this year’s competition with the Richard Mellish Insurance Services Best White Wine, Thompson’s Rural Supplies Best Shiraz, Donges IGA Supermarket Best Cab Sav, Landmark Best Italian Varietal and Powderly’s Pumping and Irrigation Best Red Blend/Other Red. The Peter Robertson Trophy for the Hilltops Wine of the Year which will be sponsored by the major Wine Show sponsor McWilliams Wines.
The presentation will be held at Young Town Hall on September 23. Exhibitors tasting will start at 3 pm, the public tasting starts at 4 pm (pre-booked tickets $20 or $25 at the door). Finger food will be provided during the event.
