The 2 Bowl Triples mini–tournament held at the Young Bowling Club on Saturday had 12 competitive teams. The event consisted of four games of 14 ends and none of the teams was able to win all four games.

The winning team – Shane McKeller, Graeme Rossiter and Terry Rickets – won three games and had an overall margin of 15 shots. Very close behind them were Michael Webb, Ian Schofield and Tom Preston who also won three games and had a margin of 14 shots. In third place were James Freudenstein, Tony Ruhl and David Ward who won three games and had a margin of just one shot while Mick Manning, Peter Slater and Denis Rosen had two wins and a draw to finish fourth.
Damien Miller and David Quigley played for Zone 8 in the RNSWBA Inter–Zone Sides Championships played at Port Macquarie over the weekend. In their sectional games the Zone 8 side drew 57–57 with Zone 3, lost 44–65 to Zone 13 and lost 53–61 to Zone 9.
