Hilltops Council Mayor Brian Ingram will be officiating at the grand opening of the new centre which will be fully bulk billed and is expected to hire a total of five doctors by the middle of January.
Bookings for next week when the centre will start seeing new patients have been taken by the receptionist at the centre since Wednesday November 8.
“The MedCIRC team is very dedicated to delivering a sophisticated new model of health care to rural and regional health with the incorporation of new IT platforms together with a new training platforms for junior doctors in the very near future,” MedCIRC Medical Centre owner and director Doctor Premaratne said.
The centre is run with Allied Health and Nursing and includes six clinic rooms, a pathology room, large treatment room with three examination couches and a staff/education room.
