A welcome to Hayden who joined one group to put in a card, following a few days of local sheep work.
Numbers were somewhat depleted due to Remembrance Day activities and non-sheep related injuries, so Peter Freck managed to float to the top with 40 points.
Nearest the pin to Peter on eight with 292 cm, keeping up a local tradition.
A gobble to Hayden on five, and a high speed gobble to Aaron on seven with one of those rare impacts that catch the pin dead centre.
The only birdie on the cards to Peter on 11 after a two-inch putt.
There was a matchplay match decided on the day between Peter and Kate Marwood-Craig with the result going Peter’s way five and four.
Next week will be a single par event teeing off at 8am.
