MLHD issues asthma storm warning

Murrumbidgee Local Health District have issued a thunderstorm asthma warning for the rest of the week within the area.

Director Public Health Unit Tracey Oakman has issued the warning with current high pollen counts and the predicted thunderstorms increasing the risk of asthma. 

Ms Oakman said people who are known to suffer from asthma should carry their asthma puffer with them at all times and try to stay indoors with the windows and doors closed during the storm period.
