Raymond Talimalie has been granted bail in the Supreme Court, Sydney the day after his matter was mentioned in Young Local Court.

Mr Talimalie appeared in the Supreme Court in Sydney on Wednesday to seek bail through a higher jurisdiction.
The accused was arrested on October 11 and refused bail in Young Local Court after an alleged incident on October 1.
Mr Talimalie was charged with a number of offences including Recklessly Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm, Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm in Company, Assault and Affray.
Mr Talimalie appeared in Young Local Court via audio-visual-link on Tuesday where he did not apply for bail but was formally refused once again after his alleged involvement in the assault.
The matter in regards to the alleged assault will return to Young Local Court on January 9, 2018 for reply to brief where Mr Talimalie is expected to appear in person.
